Federation of Crigglestone and The Castle Nursery Schools

We were very grateful for the community grant funding allocated to the Federation of Crigglestone and The Castle Nursery Schools in December 2021, from Stonebridge Homes.
We were able to use some of the money to create food hampers, which we distributed to some of our most vulnerable families at each school.
The remaining funding was used to develop Mental Health and Wellbeing for staff, children and families across the schools. The federation completed the School Mental Health Award (Leeds Beckett), achieving Silver status. We also trained three Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAs). In addition to this, we were also able to develop our staff rooms, to support and promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
