It is a real pleasure and privilege to welcome you to our website for the Federation of Crigglestone and The Castle Nursery Schools.

We are very proud of our brilliant schools, where a love of learning is promoted within a safe and happy environment. We value our partnerships with parents, carers, governors and the community, as it is essential to the success of our schools. Crigglestone and The Castle Nursery Schools promote a family atmosphere where all children and families are welcomed and encouraged to express their individuality and talents which are celebrated.

We offer excellent education for children aged two - five years old. We strongly believe that children deserve the best quality teaching and learning experiences to enable them to achieve their full potential in their Early Years. We do this by providing exciting opportunities and a journey of awe, wonder and curiosity, to help the children develop into confident individuals with a love for learning. We recognise that all children have differing needs and cater for them at Crigglestone and The Castle.

The children’s education and well-being is at the heart of everything that we do. We believe that all children are skilled learners, who are curious about the world around them. When they come to Nursery they have already had so many important and valuable experiences and we are keen to build on these further.

We have a large federation team of caring and dedicated staff who work very hard to ensure all children achieve their full potential and enjoy their time at Nursery School.
