Uniform

We do not have a uniform at Crigglestone and The Castle Nursery Schools.

Suitable Clothing

Children are encouraged to spend time outdoors and enjoy hands-on, exploratory play.

To help them fully participate in all activities, please ensure your child wears:

• Comfortable, practical clothing that allows free movement
• Weather-appropriate items, such as raincoats and wellies on wet days, or sun hats, sunglasses, shorts, and t-shirts on warm days
• A spare set of clothes each day, as we regularly enjoy water play and messy activities—this helps us keep your child clean, dry, and comfortable

Labelling Belongings

We recommend labelling all of your child’s belongings, including clothing, shoes, and personal items, to help reduce the risk of lost or misplaced items.
