Uniform

We do not have a uniform at Crigglestone and The Castle Nursery Schools.

Suitable Clothing

We ask that the children come to school in practical clothing that you don't mind them playing outside and doing messy activities in. We do encourage the children to access the outdoors and engage in exploratory play.

In general, children need comfortable and practical clothing and shoes which do not restrict their movement and that are weather appropriate. (e.g. bring a raincoat and wellies on a wet day or sun hat, sunglasses, shorts and t-shirt on a warm day)

Please make sure you send your child brings a spare pair of clothes to school every day. We have lots of water play and messy activities. We can then support your child to get changed into clean, dry and fresh clothes.

Labelling Clothing Items

 We would recommend that you label all of your children's belongings to reduce the risk of them losing or misplacing them.
